Bricktown OKC to Hawkeye Hotels
Oklahoma City, OK – HotelBrokerOne
(“HB1”) recently completed the short sale of the Aloft Downtown Bricktown in
Oklahoma City, OK. The modern, full service, 134-unit hotel was sold to
Hawkeye Hotels, a national hospitality investment company based in Iowa City,
IA.
The hotel was sold March 9 for an undisclosed price, after a
national marketing effort led to a large number of offers from local and
national buyers. Broker Ted Holmes said, “We were extremely happy with the
national interest we received from Buyers for the Hotel. The location and
long-term outlook on the Oklahoma City market generated an extremely
competitive bidding process that allowed the property to sell even through the
worst market in the history of the hospitality market.”

is one of Oklahoma City’s most iconic hotels. Despite all the challenges that
