The 2-story property opened as the Quiet Inn in August of 2008 with a total of 69 rooms and two 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartments. In 2011 an additional 25 rooms added to the hotel. The hotel was converted to a Days Inn by Wyndham in November of 2021, after completing the Wyndham required renovations. Currently, the 93 guest rooms include 14 with full kitchenettes and 3 two-room suites.

Cedar Street in the Southern sector of Canadian along and adjacent to Highway 60 the North – South main highway into Canadian. The hotel enjoys excellent visibility from both north and south Highway 60 and is located across from Sunset Park and less than a quarter block from Hemphill County Hospital that serves both Hemphill and Gray counties. The Days Inn is located just 1.2 miles from the Hemphill County Courthouse and downtown Canadian.
